CodeMark Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
CodeMark is an operational timestamp and event-logging application designed for compatible wearable devices, including Wear OS. CodeMark is designed with privacy in mind and does not require users to create an account or provide personal information to use its core functionality.
Information CodeMark Stores
CodeMark stores incident and event information locally on the user's device so that the application can provide its core timestamping and event-logging functionality.
Depending on how the application is used, locally stored information may include incident start and end times, event timestamps, event types, and event-specific information such as medication or event labels, airway information, rhythm information, ETCO2 values, and saved incident timelines.
This information is intended to remain on the device and is not intentionally transmitted to CodeMark-operated servers.
Patient Information
CodeMark does not provide fields or functionality for entering patient names, health-card numbers, medical-record numbers, addresses, phone numbers, or other direct patient identifiers.
CodeMark is an operational timestamp and event logger. It is not designed to function as a patient-record system, electronic medical record, or patient information database.
Information CodeMark Does Not Intentionally Collect
CodeMark does not intentionally collect or transmit the following information to CodeMark-operated servers:
- Patient names or direct patient identifiers
- Health-card or medical-record numbers
- Addresses or telephone numbers
- Contacts
- Photos or videos
- Audio or microphone recordings
- Location information
- User-generated incident timelines or event records
- Advertising profiles or advertising identifiers for CodeMark advertising
- Account credentials or CodeMark account information
Accounts and Online Services
CodeMark does not require a CodeMark account and does not operate a user account system for the application's core functionality.
CodeMark does not intentionally upload user-generated incident records to a CodeMark cloud service or database.
Advertising and Analytics
CodeMark does not intentionally integrate advertising networks or third-party analytics services into the application.
CodeMark does not sell, rent, or use user-generated incident information for advertising purposes.
Platform and Device Services
Although CodeMark does not intentionally transmit user-generated incident records to CodeMark-operated servers, the underlying device, operating system, app store, or platform services may independently process information according to their own policies.
For example, Google, Android, Wear OS, or the device manufacturer may provide platform services, diagnostics, backups, security functions, or other services that operate independently from CodeMark. Those services are governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.
Data Retention and Deletion
CodeMark's incident and event information is stored locally on the device for as long as it is retained by the user or application. Users may delete locally stored information using functionality provided by CodeMark or the device operating system, where available.
Device-level backup or synchronization services may operate independently and may retain application data according to their own settings and policies.
Security
CodeMark is designed to minimize the transmission of user information by keeping incident and event records local to the device. However, no electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for their wearable device and any associated device or account used with it.
Children's Privacy
CodeMark is not directed toward children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to CodeMark, applicable requirements, or the services associated with the application.
The current version of this Privacy Policy will be made available on this page.
